free wifi in the piazza

Am in Bologna, love it! There is free wifi in the main piazza which means I can sit around and study, research hostels, day trips etc all for free, yay!

Today tho I am on one of their computers and have about 5 minutes before I get booted.

My Italian is WAY better than I thought it was, I can understand a lot of what's going on, and most of the questions I need to ask I have managed to ask without consulting the guide book. The Italians so far have been friendly and helpful. They correct my bad pronunciation with a smile and answer slowly so that I can understand.

My course starts on Monday so until then I'll just bum around I guess.

Catch you again when there's something to tell!

It's great to know you arrived safely & all is well. You are getting to be very experienced with your travelling & managing to catch the right planes!Am glad your Italian is better than you thought! Lorena, from town, asked me how you were getting on & reckons you'll pick up the language really quickly now you are in Italy. She is very envious of you as she would love to be back in Italy! Went to Katanning yesterday to see BO'H & reorganized her house & planted a couple of things in the garden & had a yummy dinner with her. It's a nice little house & looking a bit more homely now.
Hope the Italian school is lots of fun.Good to see by your photos you haven't put any weight on yet! Watch out for the pasta!

Just wondered where you are staying & what is the name of the school you are going to? Thought I may be able to look them up, just to make sure you are telling us the truth about your trip to Italy!!

Sorry we missed your phonecall yesterday, but I was on the phone when you rang. If the machine comes on straight away it means we are on the phone so you can always leave it a little while & call back. I tried to call you back but it didn't work! Do you have a phone number in Italy yet?
Glad it has been sunny there. Also sunny here!

Who's this "Ruby" coger, Serrins? Sounds like a dirty old Italian wanting to pinch you!!! Tell him nothing...especially your telephone number or address!!

Yaaay you are finally there - Guilty (what else is new) of not catching up with your travels till today.

Caught up with Big Dave on MSN and asked him if he had heard of our Kara and thought better keep tabs on you to make sure you are behaving :P

Deepa has been away in India for the past two weeks (comes back tomorrow) She caught up with her sister for a bit of R&R + Spa Therapy and Shopping - I got the kids (payback from New York I guess)

Went past Kojo over the long weekend (camped in Balingup)and the girls wanted to go see you - explained to them you were away and Keirra insisted that you might have come back for the long weekend :)

Keep writing + hope you enjoy your course
